This is the Day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Today is a gift from God. The Psalmist acknowledged that God provides the day. It is our responsibility to choose what we do with the Day that God has given us. God not only gives us the Day he gives us the power of choice…”We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Let us give thanks unto The Lord.
While we have no bragging rights, we have confidence in The
God we serve. Abraham in petitioning God to Spare the
Righteous in the cities of the Plains, appealed to the Nature of
God. His knowledge of God’s Nature gave him confidence to
petition God. He knew that God would not destroy the
Righteous with the Wicked. When you pray, base your prayers
upon your knowledge of Him.
